“Forest Ghost” was chosen because it represents the owl as it comes and goes in silence, quickly seen and then, just as quick gone again.
The design is exemplified by the arrow, created from the positive wing and the negative space, suggesting forward movement. Then there are the repeated shapes of circles and curves from the wing and through the head.
